David Gudas’ letter (June 4) has no respect or sacredness for life and death.

His cruel remarks about Walter and Vincent Edwards desecrated the mourning by family and friends of Walter and Vincent.

Vincent and Walter were long-time companions of the Trinity Jubilee Center. Jubilee Center is a place of refuge for those individuals seeking reprieve from the suffering and brokenness of daily life.

Vincent and Walter were kind and caring men who often gave to others, subjecting themselves to a life of abject poverty, homelessness and social rejection.

They were our friends at Trinity Jubilee Center.

We loved and cared for them with compassion and empathy.
