RUMFORD – Jolan Ippolito, chairwoman of the Rumford Hospital Board, has joined the Board of the Maine Hospital Association. She has served on the Rumford Hospital Board for eight years and had been on the Swift River Health Care Board.

“We are thrilled that Jolan has agreed to join our board,” says Steven R. Michaud, president of the MHA. “Her expertise in private industry and her knowledge of the hospital field make her the perfect choice to advise the Maine Hospital Association on health care policy and advocacy.”

Vice President of Risk Management at American Skiing, Ippolito also serves on the board of the Maine Employers Mutual Insurance Co., the Finance Committee of the Town of Rumford, and the Oxford County Committee of the Maine Community Foundation. She is a graduate of Colby College. Ippolito and her husband, Jim, have been residents of Rumford for more than 30 years. They have three grown children.

“I look forward to serving on the board as a trustee member at such a challenging time for health care and hospitals in Maine,” says Ippolito.
