BOLTON, Conn. – Jean A. Burnham, 69, formerly of Poland and Leeds, passed away quietly, unexpectedly and peacefully on Sunday, July 10, at her sister’s home in Bolton, Conn.

She was born in New Bedford, Mass., on March 12, 1936, a daughter of Ellsworth and Marie (Ezold) Beckman.

She was married to Harold R. Burnham for 46 years, who predeceased her on May 2, 2004.

She was a wife, homemaker and mother. She was a cancer survivor. She enjoyed her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Robert G. Burnham of Auburn and Raymond H. Burnham of Lewiston; one daughter, Susan M. Morse of Leeds; one sister, Joyce Fish of Bolton, Conn.; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, a brother, and one son, Michael.
