AUBURN – Jack Charles Bazinet, 54, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 16.
Born on June 30, 1951, in Lewiston, to Albert and Olivette Bazinet, he was an alumnus of Edward Little High School Class of 1969. He received his associate’s degree from Mid-State College.
He was a self-made businessman and owner of Auto House on Main Street in Lewiston.
He was an avid golfer who loved spending weekends with his wife and friends playing a round on various courses from Florida to Maine. He also enjoyed skiing, fishing, and traveling, including several Caribbean vacations.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed deeply.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jeannette (Clark) Bazinet; one son, Shawn Bazinet of Lewiston; two daughters, Stephanie Bazinet of Auburn, and Shelly (Bazinet) Groves and her husband, Gene Groves, of Dallas, Ga.; three grandchildren, Tyler Bazinet, Jacob Bazinet, and Emma Marie Groves; one brother, Albert Bazinet Jr. of Auburn; one sister, Diane Lavoie of Lewiston; one half brother, Tommy Perrier of Virginia; one half sister, Maxine Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
