AUBURN – Beatrice A. St. Pierre, 79, of 440 Minot Ave., died Saturday, July 16, at Clover Manor.

She was born in Lewiston, on Feb. 24, 1926, the daughter of Cyril and Ida (Bernard) Aube. She was a graduate of Jordan Grammar School in 1941, where she was awarded a certificate of merit for serving on the school safety patrol.

She worked at the Continental Mill and also the Lewiston Woolen Mill as a spinner, until having to retire in 1970 due to an injury.

She enjoyed reading, watching television – especially wrestling – and spending time with her family. She was a very giving person and would go without for her children.

In 1942, she married Lyle Brown and they had two children, Beatrice Pleau and her husband, Raynald, of South Carolina, and Robert Brown of Florida. In 1960, she married Donald St. Pierre and they had one daughter, Claire Koski and her husband, Jake, of Auburn. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lance Brown, Gary and Ricky Pleau, Denise Springer and Shane and Kevin Koski; seven great-grandchildren; and by her daughter-in-law, Virginia Brown of Florida.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul, Joseph, Roland and Roger Aube; and by her sisters, Ida Reed and Mary Jane Toutain.
