9 & 10 year old girl’s Softball All-Star Game

LEWISTON – In 9 and 10 year old girls all-star softball action on Friday, July 15, Auburn Suburban Little League defeated South Lewiston 23-12. Kate Sawyer was the winning pitcher for Auburn, striking out four in two innings of work. Ashley Arnold led Auburn’s offense driving in six runs on five hits, and Kelsey Butcher was 2-for-2 scoring four runs. Taylor Texeira pitched well in the loss of South Lewiston, and received excellent catching from Tori Dennis. Offensively, South Lewiston was paced by Meaghan Mathon who went 3-for-4.
