NORRIDGEWOCK – Michael A. “Mickey” Savage, 54, of Norridgewock, passed away Saturday, July 16.

He was born March 2, 1951, on Tarbell Hill in Norridgewock, the son of Ezra Payson Savage and Jeannette (Stetson) Savage. He was educated in Smithfield schools and was a graduate of Skowhegan High School, Class of 1969.

He was in the 82nd Airborne Army Infantry serving between 1969 and 1972 during the Vietnam conflict. On July 30, 1983, he married the former Lucretia Lambert in Norridgewock.

Carpentry was his trade and he was employed by T.B. Builders of Bingham.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his sons’ sporting events. He was a Red Sox fan, loved the outdoors and liked to hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Lucretia, and sons, Joshua and Ethan of Norridgewock; his mother, Jeannette White and stepfather, Bill, of Dixfield; brothers, Anthony Savage and partner, Debbie Loadwick, of Skowhegan, and Jimmy Savage and wife, Ronda, of Oakland; sisters, Darlene Bell and husband, Steve, of North Anson, Sandra Murphy and husband, James, of Georgia, Glenda Lewis and husband, David, and Annette Hilton and husband, Gary, all of Norridgewock, Theda Strout and partner, George Lint, of Winslow, and Martha Bilodeau and husband, Dwayne, of Livermore; granddaughters, Sagen-Rayne, Isis-Marie and Na kyah-Rae, all of Waterville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Seth Savage; and his father and stepmother, E. Payson and Beatrice Savage.
