LEWISTON – Sister Annette Laliberte, daughter of Michel and Camille Laliberte of Lewiston, pronounced her perpetual vows in the Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Methuen, Mass., on June 25.
Originally from Holy Cross Parish in Lewiston, Sister Annette attended the parish’s parochial school, and is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn. She received an associate degree in executive secretarial science at Westbrook College in Portland.
Sister Annette pronounced her first vows at the Presentation of Mary Chapel in Methuen, Mass., on May 6, 2000. Since her profession, Sister Annette served in Methuen as the campaign coordinator for Presentation of Mary Academy’s “Dupre Sports and Arts Center” as well as an aide in the Province Finance Office. Since August 2004, she has been preparing for her perpetual profession at the Presentation of Mary House of Formation in Hudson, N.H.
The former Lewiston resident pronounced her perpetual vows at Holy Cross Church, Lewiston. The Most Rev. Richard J. Malone, Th.D., Bishop of Portland, celebrated the Liturgy of Profession. Her vows were received by the Community’s Provincial Superior, Sister Helene Bissonnette.
Sister Annette has received a new assignment. Beginning in August, she will serve as business manager of Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, Mass.
