LEWISTON – Lumina “Mena” Mahoney, 74, died Friday, July 22, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Lewiston. She had been a resident of Kensington Terrace in Lewiston.

She was born in Mexico on March 27, 1931, the daughter of Adolph and Eva (Legere) Martin, and graduated in 1949 from Stephens High School in Rumford.

Mena had worked for Warner Brothers in Bridgeport, Conn., and also as a waitress for different restaurants for many years until retirement.

She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church, Lewiston.

She was married in Mexico on Nov. 22, 1956, to Thomas A. Mahoney, who survives of Lewiston.

Other survivors include a sister, Leona Gurshick, and her husband, Walter, of Herman; and brothers, Robert J. Martin and wife, Sally, of Cape Cod, Mass., and Adolph J. Martin Jr. and wife, Merna, of Turner.

She was predeceased by a brother, Roland; and four sisters, Rita, Theresa, Ida and Irene.
