Living in Lewiston-Auburn, we are fortunate to have a very beautiful state park – Range Pond State Park – within a few miles. There we can relax on the beach, play games, swim or go boating. However, a vehicle is needed in order to get there.

Many people and families do not have any form of transportation, and so are unable to enjoy this privilege. I am proposing that during the months of June, July and August a bus service be organized to run to the state park from Lewiston-Auburn to remedy that situation. It could be funded by the cities, service clubs or other voluntary sources.

This letter is an effort to gauge the support for such a project.
