SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Several area natives received diplomas as Susquehanna University closed its 147th academic year with annual commencement exercises on Sunday, May 15.

Theresa L. Camic of Greene earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a minor in business. She is the daughter of Stan and Sherry Camic and a 2001 graduate of Leavitt Area High School. Her activities at Susquehanna included psychology club; Susquehanna University Ambassadors; and the Student Activities Committee.

Jennifer M. Guerin of Lewiston graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and psychology. She is the daughter of Andre and Pamela Guerin and a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School. Guerin’s activities at Susquehanna included vice president of membership education and president of Alpha Delta Pi sorority; orientation team; presidential fellows; and Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society. She was also named outstanding sorority woman of the year for 2005. Following graduation, Guerin plans to teach elementary school and attend graduate school.

Shawn L. Robitaille of Lewiston earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a marketing emphasis. Robitaille, the son of Donald and Carol Robitaille, is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School. Following graduation, Robitaille plans to pursue a career in New York or Boston. He will be married on Nov. 4, to fellow graduate Angela Roy, also of Lewiston.

Angela S. Roy of Lewiston earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary and early childhood education. Roy graduated summa cum laude and was named to the Dean’s List. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Roy Sr., Roy is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School. Following graduation, Roy plans to become an elementary school teacher. She will be wed to fellow graduate Shawn L. Robitaille, also of Lewiston, on Nov. 4.

Kirsten B. Wilbur of Greene earned a bachelor of science degree in biology. Wilbur’s activities at Susquehanna included Beta Beta Beta biology national honor society and Selinsgrove Center Volunteer Project. Following graduation, Wilbur plans to pursue a career in biology in Pennsylvania. Wilbur, the daughter of Philip and Lorraine Wilbur of Greene, is a 2000 graduate of Leavitt Area High School.
