Sale canceled

GREENE – The TRIAD lawn sale scheduled for Saturday, July 30, has been canceled. It will not be held at either the original St. Francis Church location or the re-scheduled Rural Community Action Ministry’s “tri-county” building.

Rottweiler Day

AUBURN – Rottweiler Day, sponsored by North East Rottweiler Rescue, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Pet Quarters, Shaw’s Plaza, 600 Center St.

People are invited to visit with the volunteers and dogs from North East Rottweiler Rescue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of the Rottweiler breed. It also provides information on training, health and nutrition for all dog lovers. Donations, volunteers and foster homes are needed. WINTHROP – Annabessacook Lake Improvement Association will hold its annual meeting at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Augusta West Campground. There will be a pancake breakfast at 8:30 a.m.
