LEWISTON – Members of the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council picked the winner of a MAINEiacs Flex Pack at their July 15 meeting. The pack, valued at $420, was the grand prize of the council raffle, which began at the Business to Business Trade Show held in June. Lewiston resident Roger Philippon was the winner.

Proceeds will go toward the group’s effort, in partnership with the Lewiston School Department, to place an electronic community message board at each entrance to Lewiston High School.

The board will display municipal, youth council, community and school activities and events. The council and the school department regard the boards as an effective “communication tool.”
