ARCADIA, Mich. – Craig B. Ashe of Breezewood, Pa., died Monday, June 25, in Arcadia, Mich.

Born May 10, 1946, in Lewiston, he married Lynn Cutler on Feb. 14, 1977, at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1964, and was assigned to the special security detail to the Vietnam peace talks at the U.S. Embassy in Paris 1966-1968. He went to work for the FBI in 1969, transferring to the U.S. Secret Service in 1970.

He was co-owner of Chez Brown West Restaurant in Washington, D.C., from 1976 to 1978. In 1990, he and Lynn retired and moved to Bedford County, establishing Ashe Antiques and Collectibles in 1994.

He is survived by his wife; sisters, Barbara Whitmill, Regina Murphy, Daurie Norfolk and Wendy Sparry; many nieces and nephews; and honorary grandson, Will Prescott.
