COPLIN PLANTATION – Estelle Regina (Curran) Leathers, 69, of Coplin Plantation, passed away peacefully at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home on Monday, July 25.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 14, 1935, the eldest child of the late George and Bernadette Bosse. She graduated from St. Dominic High School as valedictorian, and from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Portland.

On Oct. 19, 1957, she married her love, B. Dana Leathers. They began their life together in Gorham, where their four children were born. Estelle truly lived for her family.

She leaves her husband, Dana; her son, Mark Leathers and his wife, Valerie, of Bingham; daughters, Anita Bolduc of Norridgewock, Deborah Gagnon and husband, Ken, of Waterville, and Denise Leathers and husband, Larry Zanca, of Eliot. She loved her 11 grandchildren very much.

She is also survived by her brother, Paul Curran; three sisters, Ruth Linehan, Christine Brandt and Carmen Rioux; her sister-in-law, Donna Jones; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends and neighbors.
