FARMINGTON – Family committal services for Robert Verhoeven of Durham, formerly of Farmington, were held Sunday at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington, with the Rev. Catherine Wallace of Old South Congregational Church officiating.

Full military honors, under the command of Richard Therrien, were provided by members of the Farmington American Legion Post and the Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post No. 3335 and the Lane Dube Amvets Post No. 33, both of Jay.

Honor guard members were Harvey Sabin, Horace Labree, Bob Hallman, Alden Mitchell and Bud Cook. Firing squad members included Richard Dupont, Roland Giguiere, Mike Wadsworth, Raoul Laplante, Bill Therrien, Dan Cote, Wayne Parker and Bob Roy. Taps: Nere Simoneau; flag presentation by Don LeSuer.

Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center and Cremation Service, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
