HARTFORD – The Gammon and Davis reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Roger Gammon’s camp on Gurney Hill Road. A potluck dinner will be served. All close friends and families are invited.
Fund-raiser
OXFORD – The annual SummerFest fund-raiser to benefit United Way of Oxford will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Hannaford.
There will be a yard sale, bake sale and a lunch special, including two hot dogs or a burger, chips, soda and dessert for $5.
Two wheels will be available to spin for $1 each and every spin is a winner. People can donate $1 for a chance to win certificates from area businesses.
Lawn sale
OXFORD – The employees of Oxford Homes, in their year-long fund-raising effort to benefit Christmas for Kids, will have a lawn sale from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30. The lawn sale will be held out in front of the Oxford Homes Manufacturing facility on the lawn of Martin’s Country Homes, Route 26.

The “Dream Team” of Maine Builders at Oxford Homes has been holding raffles, car washes, bake and food sales and golf tournaments to reach their goal of $10,000 for the year. Oxford Homes has been manufacturing high quality systems built homes since 1977.
Vachon singing
BERLIN, N.H. – Josee Vachon, singer/songwriter, will present a French Canadian Show at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts, 155 Emery St. Vachon accompanies herself on the guitar and her show features humor and upbeat rhythms.
Vachon was born in Quebec and raised in Maine. She has been sharing her Franco-American upbringing and traditions since 1980 with concerts and school assemblies throughout the Northeast, Canada and Europe.
Brian Jones, an organ recitalist, will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Community Arts Center. Jones recently retired after 20 years as music director at Trinity Church, Copley Square, Boston, and he now serves the Cathedral Church of St. John in New Mexico.
Tickets are $10 at the door for each concert.
