Melissa Anne Veilleux from Greene, has completed her sophomore year at “The George Washington University” in Washington, D.C. with dean’s list honors, with a 3.87 grade point average. Melissa was inducted in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars spring of 2004 and is also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma organization.
At The George Washington University Melissa participates in FLOC Neighborhood tutoring program and is a manager at the Mt. Vernon Athletic Facility and she is also a member of the Colonials field hockey team. Melissa is a Presidential and Senator George Mitchell scholar recipient.
Melissa graduated from SAD 52, Leavitt Area High School in 2003, fifth in her class, her proud family members are Vanessa her sister, Cynthia and Wallace Veilleux her parents. All of her cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents from Portland, Brunswick, Lewiston, Greene and Turner are very proud of Melissa’s accomplishments and wish her well in her junior year. She will be spending a semester in Melbourne, Australia. Good Luck down under Mitt!
