LEWISTON – The wedding of Amy J. Brown and Lawrence W. Millett was held at 1 p.m. on June 11 at the Elks Lodge. Armand F. Rowe Jr., notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Millett is the daughter of Arnold and Nancy Ridley Sr. of Sabattus. Mr. Millett is the son of Leona Perry of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father and her son, Joshua Brown, wore a long white gown, off the shoulder with sequins and a long train. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations with baby’s breath and beaded ribbon.

Valerie Rowe, best friend for 35 years, was matron of honor and Magen and Tiffani Rowe, daughters of the matron of honor, were flower girls.

Kevin Cleaves, best friend of the bridegroom for 25 years, performed the duties of best man. Nickolas Grenier, nephew, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge, after which the couple went to the Marriott in Portland and then to Boothbay Harbor and New Hampshire. They are residing in Litchfield.

The bride is a 1986 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and is working as a personal care attendant.

The bridegroom is a 1987 graduate of Edward Little High School and is a truck driver for the Furniture Super Store in Lisbon.
