LEWISTON – Dawn M. Brissette, 44, of South Paris, died Friday at d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 22, 1960, the daughter of Lloyd and Hazel Bean Abbott and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1978.
She had worked at Paris Manufacturing, Wilner Wood Products, Mecon Manufacturing, and for the past 11 years at Oxford Homes.
She collected angels.
Dawn was always with her family because family was very important to her.
On March 1,1986, she married Wade Brissette.
She is survived by her husband of South Paris; a daughter, Tasha Brissette, of South Paris; her mother, Hazel Abbott, of Norway; a sister, Barbara Cox and her husband, Stephen, of Oxford; a brother, Windsor Abbott, of Norway; mother-in-law, Thelma Rich; father-in-law, Benjamin Brissette; sisters-in-law, Robin Harrington and Deborah Cole; brother-in-law, Jeff Brissette; best friends, Bradley and Debbie Kennagh; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends who will all miss her.
She was predeceased by her father, Lloyd Abbott.
