•Tennis is enjoyed these days by some Auburn business and professional men. Horace Day, Judge Manser, Willis Trafton and Charles Bean have had a court made on the clay bank off Main street and are to be seen out playing nearly every afternoon after business hours.

•The water in the river still remains high and attracts considerable attention as it is seldom that such an amount of water is seen coming over the falls at this time of year.

Located at the corner of Broad and Third Streets in what is known as the New Auburn area it was a small shop typical of dozen of other neighborhood grocery stores.
