LEWISTON – Marguerite Roy, 75, of Sabattus Street, died Monday, Aug. 1, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Fort Kent, July 20, 1930, the daughter of George and Sophie (Desjardins) Saucier, and had been a resident of this area for most of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Roy, whom she married in 1948; four sons, Phil of Jay, Richard of California, and Robert and Clifford, both of Lewiston; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Wida Jalbert and Helen Pelletier, both of Lewiston; three brothers, Herbert Saucier of Auburn, Lawrence Saucier of Lewiston and Herman Saucier of Lisbon.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jackie Roy; and by her son, Michael Roy.
