• Cars driven by Ernest F. Bowman, 53, of Waldoboro, and Mark Swett, 48, of 236 Bates St., Auburn, collided at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday while both were southbound on Center Street at about 1097 Center St. Damage to Bowman’s black 2003 Honda four-door was estimated at $1,000. Damage to Swett’s red 1993 Mazda four-door was estimated at $3,000.
