Marine Corps Reserve Lance Cpl. Austin B. Nadeau, son of Gregory Nadeau of Auburn, and the Reserve Marines of 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, homebased in Roanoke, Va., are in the middle of a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Nadeau and approximately 65 of his fellow Marines deployed to support the U.S. coalition’s mission of promoting stability and safety in Iraq.

Nadeau is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and joined the Marine Corps Reserve in June 2003.
