SOUTH PARIS – The parents of Lauren Anne Crawford and Christopher Michael Holbrook would like to announce their engagement.
Miss Crawford is the daughter of Bob and Carol Crawford of Olney, Md. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in marine biology. She is currently in the graduate program at the University of Maine at Orono, working on her master’s degree, also in marine biology.
Mr. Holbrook is the son of Dan and Laura Holbrook of South Paris. He graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 2000 and from the University of Maine at Orono in December of 2004 with a degree in zoology and fisheries. He is currently in the graduate program at UMO working with the endangered Atlantic salmon populations in the Penobscot River to earn his master’s degree.
A March 4 wedding has been planned.
