LAHAINA, Maui, Hawaii – The wedding of Crystal A. Labadie and Stephen E. Buchanan was held at 1 p.m. on May 20 at Lahaina Methodist Church in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Pastor Robert McCollor officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Buchanan is the daughter of Joan Labadie of Lewiston and the late Roland Labadie. Mr. Buchanan is the son of Marie P. Buchanan of Issaquah, Wash., and the late Robert Buchanan.
The bride wore a satin halter sheath gown with beaded V neckline, Empire bodice and fishtail skirt. She carried a tropical bouquet of native Hawaiian flowers.
Pauline and Chris Hayes, friends of the couple, served as witnesses.
The bride is a 1985 graduate of Lewiston High School, received her associate degree in nursing from CMMC School of Nursing, and received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine. She is a family nurse practitioner.
The bridegroom is a 1975 graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy and is currently self-employed as a computer services technician.
The couple continued to cruise the Hawaiian islands for 10 days and they are currently residing in Auburn. A reception was held on July 3 at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn River Watch.
