LEWISTON – On Thursday morning, Aug. 11, our beloved Brenda passed away, unexpectedly, after a 10-year courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a wonderful daughter; sister, aunt and friend, and she will be missed beyond measure.

Brenda was born Aug. 27, 1946, to Stephen J. and Emma Mae (Biggar) Patrick in Rumford. She was a lifelong resident of Mexico, and her mother still resides on Roxbury Road, where Brenda grew up.

Brenda was an accomplished knitter and delighted in gifting family and friends with her creations. Listening to music and playing beano were favorite pastimes she enjoyed.

She was a member of the Le Parasseux Club. She loved most of all being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her mother, Mae; two sisters, Janice and her husband, Rapheno Thibeault Jr., of Mexico, Sharon and her husband, Ivan Coulombe, of Kennebunk; as well as two brothers, John and his wife, Claire, of Rumford, and Tom and his wife, Penney, of Mexico; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Thibeault Rinaldo and her husband, Rick, Brian Thibeault, Joshua and Emily Patrick, Gregory Blouin, Alex and Alyssa Coulombe; and great-nephew and niece, Eli and Grace Rinaldo.

She was predeceased by her father, Stephen J.; brother, Stephen L.; and sister, Linda Patrick.
