LIVERMORE – A small group of Livermore and Livermore Falls Republicans met on Aug. 2 at the Brettuns Community Building to hear L. Gary Knight share the pros and cons of his campaign experiences in the 2004 election.

Knight discussed all aspects of his campaign, from meeting state filing deadlines to knocking on constituents’ doors. He also shared the responsibilities of the local Republican Committee in supporting their candidate.

Fall fund-raising activities, under the direction of Krystie Martin, vice chairwoman and finance director, were discussed. Anyone wishing to assist her in the activities or planning future events should contact her at 897-7155.

The next Livermore Republican Town Committee meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Brettuns Community Building.
