LEWISTON – Both National League playoff games slated for Monday were postponed to Tuesday. Second game of the best-of-three series will be played tonight, as follows: Gipper’s (4) vs BT Pallet (1), Randall-2, 6:00; Le National (3) vs Ducharme Masonry A (2), Randall-3, 6:00.

In American League playoff action Monday, New England Mortgage (1) edged SOCHS (4) 9-6, and Ducharme Masonry B (2) outslugged Fast Breaks (3) 17-10. Game 2 of these best-of-3 series were set to be played last night, with the “if” games scheduled for tonight.

Auburn Players

AUBURN – In Monday’s opening playoff action, Tail Gators rolled past Main-Land 24-5, breaking the game open with 10 runs in the third inning. Keith Wright, Ernie May and Kenny Norris all made oustanding defensive plays in the victory.

In other action, Melanson rolled past Sluggers 20-2, and Uncle Andy’s came-from-behind to knock off K&K Dirt Dawgs 21-19.
