JAY – Jay School Committee members voted Monday to re-admit a student who had been expelled from an out-of-state school, Superintendent Robert Wall said Tuesday.

The unidentified student had previously gone through the process for re-admittance to the school system the student had been expelled from, Wall said.

The board also approved several appointments for the 2005-06 school year at Monday’s special meeting:

• Erica Gallant, high school math teacher.

• Tracy Knapp, high school physical education teacher.

• Arthur Rawding, high school custodian/bus driver.

• Angela Jordan, language arts teacher for grades seven and eight.

• Teresa Schmidt, student counsel adviser at middle school.
