STUART, Fla. – Theodore A. “Ted” Meader, 52, of Fort Pierce, Fla., died late July 27, at Treasure Coast Hospices Center in Stuart, Fla.
He was born in Lewiston, Jan. 8, 1953, the son of Vivian M. (Brazas) Meader and the late William A. Meader II. He attended schools in Madison and relocated to Florida in the 1980s.
He was a sales manager for Johnson Chrysler Plymouth in Fort Pierce, Fla. He enjoyed coming to Maine to visit with family and friends, and playing golf with his brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Valerie L. Meader of Athens; a son, Theodore A. Meader II of Madison; his two grandchildren, Jacob T. Meader and Jocilynn D. Meader; his mother, Vivian M. Meader of Lewiston; his sister, Cheryl A. Meader-Dexter and husband, Peter, of Coral Springs, Fla.; his brother, William A. Meader III of Lewiston; his nephews, William A. Meader IV and Mathew A. Meader; and special friends.
