MECHANIC FALLS – A surprise 40th wedding anniversary party was held on Aug. 7, 2004, for Ken and Frances Perkins of Mechanic Falls. The event was held at Murray Hall in Livermore Falls and was given by their children, Doreen and her husband, Jeff, Tia and Ben, Kenny and his children, Elizabeth, Nathan and Jason, Kevin and his wife, Mary, who have a baby on the way, Kathy and her husband, Ric, and Tia, Diane and her husband, Larry, and their children, Zachary, Lance, Meagan and Morgan, Darlene and her husband, Sam, and their children, Sammy III and MacKenzie, and Felicia and her husband, Doug, and their children, Seth, Adrianna and Abi.
Tia Harris and Damon Rodzen provided DJ services. They also took all the grandchildren to Lands End and took pictures for a scrapbook put together by Tia Harris.
Mrs. Perkins is employed at Alternative Services and Mr. Perkins retired two years ago. They were married Aug. 13, 1964, and share their anniversary with their daughter, Diane and her husband, Larry, and their son, Zachary’s birthday.
Friends and family gathered to celebrate.
