SACO – The wedding of Brandy L. Trask and Christopher S. Lakis was held at 5:30 p.m. on May 29 at Laurel Hill Chapel in Saco. Ann Delasandro officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Lakis is the daughter of Terry and Iris Trask of Jay. Mr. Lakis is the son of Lynne Sullivan of Centerville, Mass., and Stephen Lakis of Yarmouthport, Mass.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless satin floor length white fitted mermaid gown with satin intertwining ribbon running crisscross down the back. She carried a bouquet of 30 deep pink roses.
Jessica Sueiro was matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Melissa Whaley, Paige-Leigh Zazzali and Christina Hagopian, friends of the bride.
A friend of the bridegroom, Dave Masse, attended as best man and ushers were Will Sueiro, brother-in-law, and Steve Parks, friend of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Dune Grass Country Club in Old Orchard Beach, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia in the Caribbean. They are residing in Los Angeles, Calif.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Jay High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of Southern California. She is currently in her last year at Pepperdine University, where she will receive her master’s degree in clinical psychology. She is employed in real estate development in Los Angeles, Calif.
The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Barnstable High School in Hyannis, Mass., and a 1994 graduate of the University of Vermont. He is employed as an international motion picture finisher at Dreamworks S.K.G. in Los Angeles, Calif.
