PHILLIPS – The 110th Wing family reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Wing Pavilion.

There will be a meeting at 10 a.m. followed by a luncheon and an auction, entertainment and games. Those attending should bring a dish for the luncheon and an item for the auction.

Moody reunion

NOBLEBORO – The 73rd Moody reunion will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the North Nobleboro Community Hall. A potluck luncheon is planned and attendees are asked to bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share. Beverages will be provided.

Schools inspected

SALEM – All school buildings in SAD 58 have been inspected for the presence of asbestos containing building materials, according to a report released recently.

A written plan for the management of asbestos has been developed, and the plan, noting the type and location of asbestos, is available for inspection at the office of the school principal or the district office. Copies may be made on request for a cost of 10 cents a page.

The management plan is an outline of operational procedure for the proper maintenance and safety of all who work, study or are present in any of the buildings to minimize the exposure to asbestos hazards.
