As we prepare for the opening of school, I am once again appreciative of the important role that the Androscoggin Head Start plays in preparing many area 4-year-olds for kindergarten. The deep commitment of the Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care staff to meet the needs of the young children enrolled in the programs is evidenced by the increased skills and abilities that these children exhibit when they enter our school.

I hope all families who qualify for these services will take advantage of this great opportunity.
