OXFORD – The fifth annual End of Summer Bash at His Place Teen Center, 254 Webber Brook Road, will take place from 5 to 10:30 p.m., tonight.

It will be a night of fun and ministry with an open house invitation for anyone to stop by and see the facility.

Game activities start at 5 p.m. with softball games, volleyball, horseshoes and basketball. The game room will be open at 6 p.m. for pool, Ping Pong, air hockey, PlayStation I and II computers.

An outdoor barbecue featuring chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, soda and dessert gets under way at 7. A $2 donation is suggested to help pay for the food.

At 8:30 p.m. the Spanish Bilingual Sandoval Band from Connecticut will present a concert.

There will be a pie-eating contest for 10 people to enter with prizes and other surprises and activities. Youth Pastor Larry Jordan will share a message.
