LEWISTON – Robert F. Henry, 73, of Rumford died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston. A lifelong resident of the area, he lived on Hancock Street, Rumford.

He was born in Mexico on May 3, 1932, a son of Kenneth and Sylvia (Dalessio) Henry, and graduated from Mexico High School, Class of 1950.

He worked at Boise Cascade Paper Co., Rumford, as a roll grinder for more than 40 years, until retirement in 1990. He was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church and a member of the Rumford Falls Aerie 1248, F.O.E.

He was married in Rumford, Sept. 21, 1953, to Perry I. DeRoehn; she died in Canton on Feb. 7, 2001.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Schrader and husband, Christopher, of Wantagh, N.Y.; two sons, Michael Henry of Oregon, and Mark Henry and wife, Beth, of Concord, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Thomas and Robert Henry, Jeff, Kyle and Jessica Friday, Jacob and twin girls, Megan and Kristen Henry, and Caysie Schrader; and his companion, Fran Morris, of Rumford.
