LEWISTON – The wedding of Debbie Fye and Jason Thompson was held on July 9 at Bates College Chapel in Lewiston. Michael Farrell officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Thompson is the daughter of Lewis and Cindy Fye of Hollywood, Fla. Mr. Thompson is the son of David and Patricia Thompson of Richmond.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Marie Michaud, best friend, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Alyson Thompson, sister of the bridegroom, and Carly Mishio and Christina Thorne, friends. Alyssa Parent, daughter, was junior bridesmaid and Brittani Giasson, niece, was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom, David Thompson, served as best man and ushers were Shannon Horne, Andrew Mishio and Josh Smith, friends. Junior ushers were Tyler Parent, son, and Erik Fye, nephew of the bride, and Gage Thompson, son, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the VFW Hall, after which the couple traveled to Niagara Falls in Canada. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a full-time student at the University of Maine at L-A College.
The bridegroom is employed for the U.S. Postal Service in Lewiston.
