AUBURN – The Central Maine Community College Athletic Department is accepting applications for its annual basketball academy camp sessions.

There will be a boys Grades 6-8 guard play session on Saturday, Sept. 24; girls Grades 6-8 guard play on Sunday, Sept. 25; boys and girls Grades 6-12 post play on Saturday, Oct. 1; boys Grades 9-12 guard play on Sunday, Oct. 2; and girls Grades 9-12 guard play on Sunday, Oct. 15. All sessions are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Central Maine Basketball Academy, in conjunction with CMCC, has developed this hoop series designed to teach players all aspects of the various positions. CMCC Athletic Director Dave Gonyea and his staff will lead the sessions, joined by area professionals and a variety of coaches and specialists.
