WESTBROOK – The Maine Metal Products Association has announced the scholarship awards for the 2005-2006. This year the scholarship recipients come from various colleges all over the state such as the University of Southern Maine, the University of Maine at Orono, Northern Maine Community College, Eastern Maine Community College, Central Maine Community College and Southern Maine Community College.

The following students have received $1,000 scholarships from MMPA: Cristy Heckler, SMCC; Joseph Higgins, CMCC; Nicholas Cote, EMCC; Nicole Rubenstein and Thomas Damon, UMaine; and Tim Dionnem, NMCC.

The $750 scholarships went to: Chris Dubois and Dylan Sirois, UMaine; Costa Moreshead and JAson Maddox, USM; Daniel Bordeau, Gabriel Whited, Matthew Dodge and Justin Klajbor, SMCC; Kevin McKenney, Nathan McIver and Tony Paradis, EMCC.

The $250 scholarship went to Kyle Jensen, UMaine.
