SABATTUS – Melissa Rene Mendoza, 29, of Tustin, Calif., and former resident of Lodi, Calif., passed away Monday, Aug. 15, in Sabattus.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1975, in French Camp, Calif., to Albert and Mary Mendoza.

She worked as a paralegal in Southern California for the past eight years. She attended and graduated in Costa Mesa, Calif., from Estancia High School, Class of 1993. She also graduated from Irvine’s Paralegal School in 1998.

She was a devoted mother, and cherished her time with her children and her family. She was an avid reader, enjoying traveling, playing basketball, music and attending family functions. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Reyes of Tustin, Calif.; daughters, Pricilla Reyes of Tustin, Calif., and Savanna Roberts of Lewiston; mother, Mary Mireles of Tustin, Calif.; sister, Tanya Mendoza of Tustin, Calif.; grandparents, Alfred Sr., and Candelaria Mendoza of Lodi, Calif.; numerous aunts and uncles and other extended family in the Lodi and Stockton, Calif., areas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Mendoza Jr., on July 22.
