LEWISTON – The YWCA of Central Maine is registering swimmers for the fall swim lesson session. Lessons will be offered Monday through Thursday and classes are available for all ages and abilities, 6 months to adult. They may be a half hour or an hour long depending on level.

Classes will begin on Saturday, Sept. 10, and run for six or seven weeks. The cost of is $55 for six weeks and $60 for seven weeks. Participants must be members of the YWCA. Membership is good for a year and includes free swims and other discounted program fees. Membership fees are: child up to age 12, $30; youths age 13 to 17; $40, adults age 18 to 59; $55, seniors, 60+), $45.

Private swim lessons are available by appointment. The cost is $25 a half-hour session. Participants must be members of the YWCA.

Adult swim lessons will be offered from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Fridays for six weeks. The cost is $75. Participants must be members of the YWCA.
