PORTLAND – Chelsea St. Onge scored a pair of goals and assisted on a third to highlight St. Dom’s 55-shot attack in a 4-1 triumph over Waynflete.
The Saints (3-0) jumped out to a 3-0 lead before halftime on goals by Mary Lewis, Malley O’Shea and St. Onge. Chelsea Smith of Waynflete (0-3) spoiled Austyn Carolin’s shutout bid with 5:30 to play.
The Saints outshout Waynflete 55-5 and had a 23-1 edge in penalty corners. Caroline Schnell had 51 saves for the Flyers.
Girls’ Soccer
Greenville 2, Buckfield 0
BUCKFIELD – Midfielder Hannah Breton led the attack for Greenville with a pair of goals in a 2-0 shutout over Buckfield in EWC girls’ soccer action Saturday.
The Lakers (2-0) received goals from Breton in each of the two halves.
Cassy Dillon had a strong game on the defensive end for the Bucks (0-2-1), helping to prevent any more damage on the Lakers’ 17 shot. Shayna Shackford recorded 13 saves for Buckfield.
Rangeley 1, Valley 0
RANGELEY – Ashley Quimby scored the game’s lone goal after a scramble in front of the cage to lift Rangeley to a 1-0 triumph over Valley.
Quimby’s game-winner came with 17 minutes to play in the second half. Krista Jamison stopped six shot for the Lakers (2-1).
Morgan Staples made 19 saves for Valley (0-3).
Oxford Hills 2, Erskine 2
SOUTH CHINA – Samantha Rivers made a game-saving stop in the second overtime to preserve Oxford Hills’ 2-2 tie with Erskine.
The Vikings (0-2-1) led 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Kari Pelletier. After Brittany Doughty tied the game for the Eagles (1-1-1), Terry Bunce scored on a penalty kick to regain Oxford Hills’ advantage, but Mariah Gleaton tied the match with 8:20 to play.
Rivers finished with four saves.
Lewiston 2, Morse 0
BATH – Lewiston goalie Katie Cobb stopped all 21 shots to carry Lewiston to a 2-0 victory over Morse in a varsity girls’ soccer match Saturday.
Both of Lewiston’s goals came off corner kicks from Laura Martel.
Julia Bergeron scored the first goal at the 17:29 mark of the first half and Ali Morin scored Lewiston’s (3-0) second goal with 10:08 left in the second half.
Georges Valley 4, Mountain Valley 1
FARMINGTON – Georges Valley had four different goal scorers to defeat Mountain Valley 4-1 in a MVC girls soccer contest.
Megan Schooley started the scoring for Georges Valley with a penalty kick. Hannah Yovino, Bryson Cowan and Molly Hoyt also scored for Georges Valley.
Terissa Ridge netted the lone goal for Mountain Valley (1-2).
Lisbon 0, Mt. Abram 0
SALEM – Neither team could find the net as Lisbon and Mt Abram finished in a 0-0 tie.
Brianna Wilkins made five saves in net for Mt. Abram (2-0-1). Lisbon’s (2-0-1) goalkeeper Samantha Purcell had four saves.
