LEWISTON – Willard L. Gagnon, 97, of Lewiston, died Friday, Sept. 9, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.

He was born in Eagle Lake on June 19, 1908, the son of Eloi and Josephine Dube Gagnon.

He was married Jan. 3, 1944, to Cecile Parent.

He was employed in the maintenance department at Windsor Hall in Connecticut.

He was a member of Holy Cross Parish and Knights of Columbus Council No. 106 of Lewiston.

He enjoyed gardening and maintaining his automobiles.

He will be remembered as a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Cecile, of Lewiston; three daughters, Doris Champagne and her husband, Delwood, of Denham Springs, La., Nancy Orlofski and her husband, Anthony, of Monson, Mass., and Terry McCuin and her husband, Jack, of Enfield, Conn.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
