Finally on national news Sept. 6 we saw the unmoving, unspeaking image of Vice President Dick Cheney.

How can the person next in line to the president to be leader of the United States not be seen or heard for more than a week of misery while hundreds of thousands of citizens suffer and die in a natural disaster. That man is a national disaster and should be removed from the office of vice president.

There is no vote of confidence for this man and his ability to step up in a time of national emergency.
