POLAND – Christmas came early this year for Christine Coutts, who will turn 80 on Dec. 25. A surprise birthday party was hosted by her four children and spouses at the Poland Library on Aug. 14.

Attending were her siblings, Phyllis Bernard, Donald Miles and wife, Myra, Dana Miles, Wallace Miles and wife, Sandy, Nina Stimson and David; her children, Judy Withers, Butch Coutts and wife, Fran, Cynthia Greenlaw and husband, David, Doug Coutts and wife, Dawn.

Also present were her grandchildren, Todd Withers and friend, Audrey Leavitt, Tim Withers and wife, Bunny, Julie Cushman and husband, Mark, Jason Greenlaw and wife, Samantha, Becky Coutts, Miles Coutts and Matthew Coutts; and great-grandchildren, Kayla Burnham, Alexis Withers, Cole Cushman, Noah Garnett, Lucas Greenlaw and Ben Cushman.
