NAPLES – Cyrus “Cy” J. Leach, 70, of Meadow Road, Casco, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 14, at his daughter’s home in Naples after a long illness.
He was born in Mechanic Falls, a son of Mark Leach and Jenny Bailey.
He married Judith Flanigan of Casco on Nov. 11, 1958.
For many years, he earned his living as a stone and brick mason. He was an accomplished golfer who earned multiple club championship titles at both Naples Country Club and Summit Golf Course. Due to his reputation as an expert golfer, he was often invited to play in many member-guest tournaments throughout the state.
He enjoyed ice fishing and hunting, and possessed incredible natural artistic abilities.
Surviving are his wife of Casco; his daughter, Darlene Perry of Naples; two brothers, Mark Leach of Casco and David Leach of Arizona; two sisters, Christine Leach of Tennessee and Barbara Kelley of Richmond; and two grandsons, Greg and Geoff Perry, both of Naples.
