LEWISTON – The wedding of Denise Virginia Brown and Ethan George Martin was held at 2 p.m. on May 14 at the Bates College Chapel. Carrie Lacasse, notary, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Martin is the daughter of David W. Brown Sr. and Diana L. Brown of Lewiston. Mr. Martin is the son of Gary and Cynthia Martin of Lewiston.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, David W. Brown Jr., and she carried a bouquet of flowers, consisting mostly of daisies.
Naomi Cummings, daughter of the bride, attended as maid of honor and Dawn-Marie Bishop, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dawn McClure, Vicki Cote, Jamie Beaudoin and Anna Hirsch, friends. Flower girls were Chelsey Bishop and Meili Beaudoin, nieces.
A best friend of the bridegroom, Jason P. Cote, served as best man and ushers were Matthew Paradis, Craig Beaudoin and Ron Eisenhower, friends, and Stefan Martin, brother of the bridegroom. Gage Beaudoin, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Mexico. They are residing in Lewiston.
