FT. PIERCE, Fla. – The wedding of Shirley Ford Guptill and Thomas D. Bennett was held on March 14 at the home of Mrs. Carroll Charron in Ft. Pierce, Fla.
Mrs. Bennett is the daughter of the late Robert and Wilhelmina Ford. Mr. Bennett is the son of the late Charles and Helen Bennett.
The bride was given in marriage by her daughter, Janet L. Guptill of Port St. Lucie, Fla. She was also honor attendant. Best woman was Mrs. Carroll Charron, best friend of the bride.
A reception followed at the Charron residence. The couple is residing in Auburn.
The bride is a retired school secretary for the Auburn School Department.
The bridegroom is retired from Central Maine Power Co.
