LEWISTON – Leo P. Palmer Sr., 66, of 49 Knox St., died Sunday, Sept. 17, at his home.

Born in Biddeford on March 15, 1939, a son of Percy L. and Beatrice A. Rochefort Palmer, he was educated in Biddeford schools.

He worked for Maremont Corp., in Biddeford, in the shock absorber plant and enjoyed watching wrestling and bowling. He loved spending time at the beach with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara G. Bowser of Lewiston, whom he married Sept. 26, 1961; a daughter, Deborah Ann Palmer of Lewiston; three sons, Norman, Anthony and Leo Jr., all of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Jason Alan Pratt, Christopher Ryan Palmer, Ashley Marie Palmer and Austin Will Adams; a sister, Doris Davis of Biddeford; and a brother and his wife, Arthur and Elaine Palmer of Massachusetts.
